Here at Hot Spotz Bengals we strive to produce cutting edge Bengals with that "WoW" factor staying true to the wild look of the Asian Leopard Cat but with the affectionate & gentle nature of the domestic cat! Our selective breeding program for over 20 years is devoted to the promotion and preservation of the Bengal breed of domestic cat and by adopting one of our amazing Bengal kittens you can be assured of a precious baby with a stunning wild exotic appearance of their ALC ancestor that is healthy, loving, and an entertaining family companion for many years! They have an amazing temperament, guaranteed great health and the fabulous markings that every great kitten should possess.

We are cared for by UC Davis and Optimal Selection by Wisdom Panel, PCR testing by IDEXX and Zoologix, a DVM Board Certified Cardiologist Doctor, and a Veterinary Hospital. All of our cats in our breeding program are periodically and extensively health screened & genetically tested for, but is not limited to; FIV/FeLV (Feline Immunodeficiency & Leukemia Virus), PK Deficiency (Hemolytic Anemia), PKD1 (Polycystic Kidney Disease), PRA-b (Bengal Blindness), and HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy-Heart Disease), at appropriate age or by parentage and various parasites. There is a lot of time and expenses involved in raising high quality pedigreed Bengal cats, more than most people realize. Our exquisite Brown, Silver, Snow, Silver Snow, SBT (studbook tradition) Champion bloodline, pedigreed, TICA registered Bengal kittens, are individually evaluated and priced accordingly. Those that meet the Bengal standard, have the best markings, pattern, coloration, conformation, and personality are our top-quality Bengal kittens and therefore are the most expensive.  Our kittens are bred from Regional Win Supreme Grand Champion, Grand Champion, Champion and Gogees bloodlines.  Kittens go through many stages as they develop, so we are continually re-evaluating them as they grow. Therefore, we reserve the right to re-assess them as they develop and price accordingly. Once someone has placed a deposit on a priced kitten however, the price is locked in on that kitten and will not increase even if it develops beyond our expectations.

Darker than the traditional recognized Bengal colors. The black smoky charcoal color was particularly seen in early generation F1 and F2 Bengals. The charcoal trait is inherited independently of color and can be seen in each color class: browns, silvers, snows. Dark greyish/brownish or carbon colored background with a very dark pattern. Can also have a darker face “mask” and thick dorsal stripe. Tail is dark brown/black or grayish black with a black tip.

PET KITTENS- Our pet kittens are priced depending on the quality of the kitten, based on variables such as; gender, age, pedigree, pattern/markings, contrast & color, coat clarity, glittered pelt, overall structure, temperament, conformation, and whether you desire a pet or show quality pet companion.

SHOW QUALITY PET= $2,800 +

SHOW PET KITTENS- Kittens demonstrating exceptional qualities which render the kitten "show" or "breeder" quality offered as TOP PETS. This price will include SHOW rights (not BREEDING rights), whether or not you intend to show your kitten.

 

BREEDER/SHOW QUALITY= $4,000 & up (approved registered cattery only)

BREEDER/SHOW KITTENS- With full breeding & show registration rights included and sold to approved registered catteries only. Kittens are evaluated until at least 6-8 weeks of age before a final price is given.

 

RETIRED ADULTS= $800 +

Occasionally, we offer our gorgeous, retired adults for adoption at a very reasonable price. They are healthy, friendly, pedigreed, registered and are from the most renowned & award-winning Champion bloodlines. If you see one of our Queens or Studs that you would be interested in adopting when they are retired, fill out our application. We are very selective about where our retirees are rehomed!

GENDER, AGE, PEDIGREE, PATTERN/MARKINGS, CONTRAST & COLOR, COAT CLARITY, GLITTERED PELT, OVERALL STRUCTURE, TEMPERAMENT, QUALITY TO THE CONFORMATION OF THE BENGAL BREED STANDARD AND WHETHER YOU DESIRE A "PET" OR A "SHOW QUALITY" COMPANION KITTEN WITH A SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, OR A "BREEDER/SHOW" KITTEN WITH FULL REGISTRATION RIGHTS.

WE WORK ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY OFF OF OUR WAITING LIST BUT WE WILL ALSO OCCASIONALLY HAVE KITTENS STILL AVAILABLE.

We consult with other responsible breeders and believe that our prices are in the current market range for the quality of kittens that we produce. Basically...you get what you pay for! We have been involved with and responsibly breeding the Bengal breed for over 20 years and we spare no expense on the environment, food, time & socialization, health screenings and veterinary care we provide our Bengals, as it is our labor of love! Before we even breed a litter, we need to do a variety of health screenings and tests on our breeding cats and also there are vaccinations, food, litter, toys, cat trees, bedding, disinfecting supplies, cleaning, administrative costs, etc...all before a litter is born. Plus, there is the enormous amount of time we spend socializing, caring, and taking photographs of our kittens so that when the kitten leaves our home, we know that it was healthy for their future families.

It is a very expensive hobby to responsibly commit to breeding Bengals 24/7, but it is for the love and passion of educating people & improving this amazing cat breed! You might see Bengal kittens priced much lower on some online pet sites-Buyer beware! You may pay less for the kitten initially but realize you may be spending a whole lot more on vet bills and possible heartache in the end.

HOT SPOTZ BENGALS KITTENS

Our kittens are lovingly hand raised underfoot in our home to ensure the most well-adjusted, happy, healthy, pet for you. All of our kittens are from awarded Champion bloodlines and are TICA registered. All kittens/cats are sold with a contract and health guarantee signed by the breeder and new owner. They are sent to their new forever loving home already socialized & pre-spoiled, litter box trained, eating solid food, appropriate core vaccinations, dewormed, vet checked, kitten care pack. Our first priority is the health and happiness of our kittens and cats, and our policies are designed to reflect that priority.

Kittens are evaluated privately by the breeder for the first approximately 6-8 weeks of age for potential breeding and/or show use. The kitten's adoption price is then set. We then contact our waiting list deposit holders by order of their deposit received and specifications desired to make their selection.  Our available kittens page is updated frequently. We photograph the kittens at approximately 5 weeks,  8 weeks, and 11 weeks of age. Kittens are ready to go to their new homes at approximately 12-16 weeks of age. It will be at our discretion at what age each individual kitten is ready to move to its new home. Updates & new photos of the kitten are sent periodically for you to watch their amazing progress growing up in our fun, loving, family home.

 

ADOPTING PARENT MUST BE ABLE TO AGREE TO OUR PURCHASE CONTRACT TO ADOPT ANY OF OUR KITTENS, WHICH WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU UPON CHOOSING YOUR KITTEN.

NOTE: A "RESERVE" OR "SALE" OF A KITTEN IS NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL A COMPLETED PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED.

 

PET COMPANIONS ARE SOLD WITH THE REQUIREMENT THAT THEY BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED BY THEIR NEW OWNER AND PROOF OF ALTERING MUST BE PROVIDED TO US BEFORE A TICA REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE THAT IS OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED "NOT FOR BREEDING, NOT FOR SHOWING" WILL BE RELEASED. IF THE KITTEN IS A TOP QUALITY SHOW PET THEN THE TICA REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE WILL ONLY STATE "NOT FOR BREEDING".

 

KITTENS FOR BREEDING/SHOWING COME WITH FULL TICA REGISTRATION. BREEDING/SHOW RIGHTS WILL BE SOLD STRICTLY TO ESTABLISHED REGISTERED CATTERY PROGRAMS.

WAITING LIST

This (deposit) wait list is for those who are genuinely interested in purchasing a kitten from Hot Spotz Bengals Cattery and is intended to reserve a person's spot on the list. A $150 deposit for a Pet Companion or a Breeder/Show is required to be placed on this list and is non-refundable. Once you have chosen your kitten, the remaining reservation deposit of $150/pet, $350 breeder/show will be applied towards the total purchase price of the kitten chosen to reserve, for the total $300/pet, $500 breeder/show deposit. The first name on the list will get first pick of the available kittens and so on and so forth. Only if said kitten becomes unfit for sale can the deposit be applied towards another kitten/litter. 

Kittens are evaluated privately by the breeder for the first approximately 6-8 weeks of age for potential breeding and/or show use.  The kitten's adoption price is then set. We then contact our waiting list deposit holders by order of their deposit received and specifications desired and you are given two (2) days to make your selection and respond. Our available kittens page is updated frequently. If you decide to pass and wait for another litter, you will remain on the list and be placed at the bottom of the wait list, your deposit will remain valid to be applied towards the purchase price of your selected kitten. If you decide you no longer want a kitten or we are unable to contact you, your deposit is non-refundable and you will be removed from the wait list. After you reserve your chosen kitten, the contract is then signed or upon the day of kitten pick up in person. The agreed upon price is then locked in for you. Kittens are ready to go to their new homes at approximately 12-16 weeks of age. It will be at our discretion at what age each individual kitten is ready to move to its new home, in the best interest of the kitten's well-being. Once you have placed a deposit on a kitten, we will send updates & new photos periodically for you to watch their amazing development growing up here at our home.

The deposit to hold the kitten of your choice is non-refundable or transferable!

DEPOSIT/PAYMENTS

Deposits may be made by; Paypal, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo sent via: friends and family (not goods or services), Cash, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Personal Check. The final balance owed must be paid in full 2 weeks before the kitten is released to the new owner if paying by check or with Cash or Zelle the day of pickup. NO CASH REFUNDS.

(If mailing your deposit, we will place a temporary hold on the kitten for 3 days. The deposit MUST be mailed using Priority 2-3 day mail with a tracking #.)

A deposit and signed contract are required on all kittens/cats purchased from Hot Spotz Bengals. A $300/Pet or $500 Breeder/Show non-refundable or transferable deposit reserves your chosen kitten. No kittens are held without a deposit. The deposit will be applied towards the total purchase price of the kitten chosen. Only if said kitten becomes unfit for sale can the deposit be applied towards another kitten/litter. Once someone has placed a deposit on a priced kitten the price is locked in on that kitten and will not increase even if the kitten develops beyond our expectations! Please note in some cases, several people may be interested in a kitten! If so, we cannot guarantee the kitten is "yours" until we receive your deposit! This is regardless of how long we have been talking or emailing you. To avoid disappointment, if you are really interested in a kitten, we would urge you to put in your deposit early.

PAYMENT PLAN: We offer a payment plan for our clients. If you would prefer to pay over-time instead of all at once, we can set up an individualized Payment Plan to suit your needs. The down payment of $300/pet or $500 breeder/show is placed first to reserve the kitten then the remaining balance is divided into payments that are due either weekly or every other week. How much is paid per payment depends on the amount of time that you need, agreed upon on an individual basis. The final balance is due 2 weeks (14 days) before the kitten is released if paying with a personal check or by Cash or Zelle when the kitten is picked up.

 

We do reserve the right to refuse to sell you the kitten at any time before the kitten’s ownership is transferred without cause. If circumstances warrant this action, we will refund your deposit in full.

 

RESERVATION DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE AND ARE IN GOOD FAITH OF FURTHER PURCHASE FROM OUR CATTERY.

SHIPPING

In the best interest of the kittens, we do NOT ship and they must be picked up in person at our home. We prefer to meet every new owner in person and only allow in-person selections and pick-ups of our kittens/cats. The cost of shipping versus the cost of traveling to our location is often very similar and it is better for you to have your new best friend safely with you. We always want what is best for our Bengals!


VISITOR POLICY

VISITS ARE LIMITED TO CLIENT PREPAID DEPOSIT HOLDERS ONLY

Please note our Bengal cattery is also our home and we are NOT a retail pet store or public zoo open to the public! We get multiple requests daily to come visit our kittens & cats and we simply cannot accommodate that kind of traffic in our home because it is simply a health risk to our cats by having possible illnesses being brought in that could expose our kittens & cats inadvertently. This is for our cats and buyers protection as well. We offer a health guarantee on our kittens, and we could not do that confidently if we had high visitation traffic through our home and cattery. If there is another new litter arriving, visits are not recommended. Our available kittens may be viewed by appointment (48 hours+ in advance) for serious purchasers only after they are fully weaned and have received their first & second core vaccinations/dewormings by 11-12 weeks of age, if we still have any available (most are sold by that time) and client has submitted to us our kitten application, deposit and contract in place on a particular kitten to reserve it. The deposit must be paid in advance/prior to the visit and it is applied towards the total price of the kitten. If you are truly interested in a Hot Spotz Bengals kitten/adult, please fill out & submit our ‘kitten application’ questionnaire.
